Integration of powerful scientific software packages
with Windows GUI
- Programming Pool - a GUI multi language environment based on the GNU compilers of the 2.95 generation(C, C++, PASCAL, FORTRAN). SALATEC, GSL, OpenGL, WinAPI, DISLIN, WinBGI. Examples provided in the frame of course material also available as an e-book.
- Search Match program for X-ray diffraction patterns
- The Mopac 7 quantum mechanics engine is integrated with ACD Labs ChemSketch molecule builder, and other graphics programs for output visualization. Use of Salford FORTRAN compiler gives a code with speed comparable to commercial WinMopac3.
- Image processing programs and modules
- Learning modules compiled as ready to use programs with examples. Useful to learn tricky numeric methods(e.g. unfolding, Fourier transforms) or to avoid tedious formulae (linear algebra) .
